Prior to the 78th Oscars Awards Nights (March 5), I accidentally found a page containing photographs of Oscars Fashion DO's and DON'Ts. As a fashion-interested girl, I got so excited and posted it in my journal specially in my Panagbenga 2006 entry (see previous post). I realized I did something crap 'coz I place a topic about fashion in the Panagbenga Festival and these two are not related! Silly of me! LOLS !!! Out of curiosity, I glossed over a total of 177 pictures and it took me two hours! Below are some that caught my attention:

~ Really FABULOUS ~ What can you say? I like this gown of Cate Blanchett (1999) especially the details. Indeed fabulous! Great for formal gatherings like the Oscars.

~ Unique yet Improper ~ Ok, I respect Bjork choice of outfit. It's unique however it doesn't fit in a formal gathering like Oscars. This is best worn in a costume party, aint?

MY THOUGHT--> Its really fun to express your self thru dressing up, accessorizing... fashion statement in short. On my own opinion, following the fashion trend is not bad. Before you follow trends in fashion, you should ask yourself the following FAQs before indulging into fashion or dressing up:

• Does the outfit suits me? Does the color combination match my complexion? Etc..
• Is my budget enough for the said outfit?
• Is this outfit proper to the occasion I'm going to attend?

Those are just few. All I can say, dress properly and choose outfits that fits you and your budget. Its also good to ask some honest friends on what they think about your dress. Don't be a fashion victim ok?
