New Life

I just made a major decision last week. I decided to leave my teaching profession. I'm looking forward to shift my career into something really technical. I'm currently in the 3rd stage of recruitment. Actually, I have an scheduled interview this 11:30 AM. My application went a lil fast. Last March 26, I saw this ads from Philippine Daily Inquirer's Job Market. I think I am qualified so I decided to pass my resume thru email last Monday. Around 3PM of March 31st, I received a phone interview which is the first stage of recruitment. I was pretty amazed of the prologue coz the interviewer said "You reconsidered to join our company...". I remembered I received a phone call last October from a call center company. I was interviewed before and scheduled to take the written exam but it was so crapped of me I was not able to jot down the company's name. LOLs! Unfortunately, I did not arrived on the said schedule coz I still have my contract at STI. It was really amazing that some things are controlled by unexplained force, aint? Yesterday, I took my written exam. I thank Lord coz I'm one of the few applicants who passed. The exam is indeed mind draining... it is composed of three sets. The most difficult exam was the IQ Test. Just in case I'll get hired, I'll be working at Ayala Ave, Makati City. Anyway, that's all for now.

~ UPDATES  as APRIL 7, 2006 ~

Ok, here are the updates with my so-called new life:

  • October 2005 --> I received a phone call from this CRM company and conducted the first stage of recruitment: phone interview. I was schocked coz I didn't applied for a call center company. It so happened that this company found my resume which I posted just for fun last 2003 or 2004 (cant' remember anymore! =) at trabaho.com. Out of curiousity, I entertained the phone interview. I answered all the questions shot to me by the interviewer. After that, she scheduled me for a written exam. Unfortunately, I was not able to take it coz I still have my contract at STI-Urdaneta as an IT Instructor.
  • March 26, 2006 --> I found an ad at Philippine Daily Inquirer JobMarket about a career opportunity in a call center.
  • March 27, 2006 ---> I decided to apply and sent my resume thru email.
  • March 31, 2006 --> I was phone interviewed again and I found out that its the same company who called me last October.
  • April 3, 2006 --> Around 10 AM, I took my written exam and passed it.
  • April 4, 2006 --> My first personal interview. The interviewer gave me til April 7 to decide.
  • April 7, 2006 ---> I confirmed with the company about the arrangement discussed last April 4. Well, I have to go back by April 17 for further details.
  • LADIES, as far as I am concern I will be assigned at Eastwood City Libis Quezon City. By the way, I'll tell you what company is that soon.... kinda surprise! CLUE: the company is American-based and multi-awarded.

That's all for today!!!!!

I also made a major decision last month, leaving my job as a manager of a startup web design company. Hope I can find a satisfying job here in Urdaneta. :)... G'luck on your new career as well.
